What You'll Be Doing:
You'll own lead generation for AXCEPT. Your primary goal is driving inbound leads from service businesses in the NorCal region and beyond. You'll manage both the organic brand presence and performance marketing campaigns, but your success is measured by one thing: qualified leads that turn into meetings for our sales team.
You're not just running ads or posting content—you're building a lead generation engine. That means testing channels, analyzing what works, iterating fast, and scaling what drives results. You'll work across SEO, paid ads (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), content marketing, email campaigns, partnerships, and anything else that brings qualified merchants to us.
Your Impact:
Drive inbound lead flow to feed our growing sales team—measured in qualified leads per month
Build and optimize campaigns across multiple channels (paid search, social, content, email)
Own regional targeting strategy to reach service businesses in NorCal and expand to other markets
Create and manage content that educates merchants and builds trust in the AXCEPT brand
Analyze campaign performance, identify what's working, and double down on high-ROI channels
Work closely with sales to understand lead quality and refine targeting
What You Bring:
Experience & Skills
3-5+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or lead generation roles
Proven track record of driving measurable lead growth (you can show the numbers)
Experience managing paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn
Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and organic growth strategies
Comfortable with marketing analytics and attribution (Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar)
Experience with email marketing and nurture campaigns
Copywriting skills—you can write ads, landing pages, and emails that convert
Bonus Points
Experience marketing to small business owners or service businesses
Background in FinTech, SaaS, or B2B services
Regional or local marketing experience (geo-targeted campaigns)
Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
Design skills or experience working with designers on creative assets

Compensation:
Base Salary: $110,000 - $125,000
Competitive salary based on experience
Performance Bonus
Bonus tied to lead generation KPIs and pipeline contribution
Equity
1% - 2% equity stake in AXCEPT
