What You'll Be Doing:
You'll own the merchant onboarding process from signed contract to live payments. This means coordinating with merchants, our technical team, and payment processors to ensure smooth transitions. You're the person making sure a dental office doesn't lose a day of revenue because of a payment system migration, or that a med spa's first transaction on our platform goes perfectly.
Your day includes managing onboarding timelines, troubleshooting issues before they become problems, communicating with merchants about next steps, coordinating technical setup with our development team, and ensuring compliance with payment processing requirements. You'll also build and improve our onboarding processes as we scale.
Your Impact:
Own the merchant onboarding experience from contract signing to first successful transaction
Ensure zero business disruption during payment system transitions—no downtime, no lost revenue
Build scalable onboarding processes and documentation as we grow
Act as the primary point of contact for merchants during onboarding—you're their advocate
Coordinate between sales, technical teams, and payment processors to deliver smooth implementations
Identify operational bottlenecks and work with leadership to solve them
What You Bring:
Experience & Background
3-5+ years in operations, customer success, implementation, or project management roles
Experience managing onboarding, implementation, or customer transition processes
Track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality
Strong communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Bonus Points
Experience in FinTech, payments, SaaS, or B2B service businesses
Familiarity with payment processing systems or merchant services
Experience building operational processes from scratch
Background working with service businesses (dental, medical, professional services)

Compensation:
Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
Competitive salary based on experience
Equity
0.5% - 1% equity stake in AXCEPT
